A game of high drama ends at the King Power Stadium, where Leicester have secured a dramatic 5-3 victory thanks to goals from Ulloa (2), Nugent, Cambiasso and Vardy. Van Persie, Di Maria and Herrera scored for United - who twice held a two-goal lead - though Louis van Gaal's men leave with nothing to show for their efforts.
91: Herrera's lofted effort from 25 yards forces a comfortable save from Schmeichel, who has had little to do for the last 20 minutes.
90: There will be six minutes of added time.
MATCH PIC
Rooney battles for possession as the match meanders towards a disappointing finale for the Reds.
85: It's hard to argue with the referee's decision to dismiss Blackett, but I do feel sorry for him - he'd been excellent up until that moment and it's a shame that his match has ended in this way.
Wayne Rooney was booked during all of that commotion, presumably for dissent.
Leonardo Ulloa scores from the spot - his second goal of the game - to put Leicester 5-3 up over the Reds.
Blackett is subsequently send off by the referee.
PENALTY GIVEN!
83: Tyler Blackett fouls Jamie Vardy inside the area and concedes United's second penalty of the match.
81: Chris Smalling and Tyler Blackett were angry at United's midfielders following that goal, while Louis van Gaal looked furious in the away dugout. Can United claim something from this game?
GOAL: LEICESTER 4 UNITED 3
Jamie Vardy races in on goal and calmly slots the ball past De Gea to put the hosts in front with just under 10 minutes left to play.
75: Juan Mata takes the place of Angel Di Maria.
74: David Nugent leaves the action for Matty James, a former United player who rose through the club's Academy.
71: Herrera blasts a speculative shot wide of goal from range, prompting sarcastic cheers from the home crowd.
70: Januzaj appears to have come on as a direct replacement for Falcao, having taken up a position as a striker alongside RvP. Rooney is still playing in midfield as the no.10.
70: Adnan Januzaj replaces Radamel Falcao.
69: Esteban Cambiasso leaves to a standing ovation for Andy King.
67: There are 31,784 fans inside the King Power Stadium and, at present, you can hear every single one of them!
65: Louis van Gaal has two substitutions left to make and has the likes of Shaw, Mata, Januzaj, Fletcher and Valencia on the bench.
GOAL: LEICESTER 3 UNITED 3
Esteban Cambiasso pounces on United's inability to clear the ball and fires a left-footed shot home from around 12 yards to restore parity for the hosts. The stadium is bouncing and the home fans believe they're en route to a shock victory. United need to regroup.
GOAL: LEICESTER 2 UNITED 3
David Nugent hits the ball straight down the middle and past David De Gea to earn his side another lifeline at the King Power Stadium.
PENALTY GIVEN!
Rafael fouls Jamie Vardy and the referee blows for a penalty, though TV replays suggest that might be the incorrect decision.
Phil Neville on Twitter: "I'd get @LukeShaw3 on now give him a taste!"
56: Adnan Januzaj has been sent to warm up on the touchline. Could the young Belgian enter the fray?
GOAL: LEICESTER 1 UNITED 3
Angel Di Maria's tame shot is back-heeled past Kasper Schmeichel by midfielder Ander Herrera, who runs away to celebrate his second goal in as many matches. The Reds are in control now.
MATCH PIC
Wayne Rooney has enjoyed some success in the no.10 role.
48: Jonny Evans has taken his place in the away dugout and is wearing a large protective boot, which suggests the Northern Irishman has suffered an injury that could rule him out for some time.
48: Falcao controls the ball on the age of the area and unleashes a lofted shot that cannons off the crossbar.
47: United have made a bright start to the second half, knocking the ball around with relative ease in front of a home crowd that is noticeably quieter.
46: Neither manager has made changes.
SECOND HALF
45: Van Persie and Falcao set the ball rolling for the second half.
MATCH RESTARTS
#mufclive comment via @arun92nair: "Angel Di Maria doesn't dribble, he glides with the ball, reminds me of watching giggs tearing rivals apart!"
#mufclive comment via @J_Whizz95: "Good half by united everybody looked lively a few errors at the back..but the second half should be filled with more goals."
HALF-TIME: LEICESTER 1 UNITED 2
The referee calls time on an excellent first half in which goals from Robin van Persie and Angel Di Maria gave United a clear lead, before Leonardo Ulloa's header gave the hosts a fighting chance ahead of the second half. All to play for at the King Power Stadium.
45: There will be two minutes of added time at the King Power.
43: Di Maria's curling cross just evades Falcao at the near post and unfortunately bounces out for a goal kick.
41: Jamie Vardy bursts forward for Leicester and appears to be through on goal, until Blackett suddenly appears to execute an impressive sliding challenge that knocks the ball out of play.
37: Rooney's corner works its way towards van Persie, who tees up Di Maria for a deflected shot that earns another corner on the opposite flank. The Argentinian then finds Rojo at the near post, though his compatriot can only head over the crossbar.
MATCH PIC
Angel Di Maria celebrates his excellent goal with Radamel Falcao.
35: Chris Smalling grapples with a Leicester forward and bundles him to the ground, which causes much commotion from the home fans - who want the Reds defender booked.
33: Blind knocks the ball inside to left-back Marcos Rojo, who takes a touch and unleashes a wild shot that flies wide of Schmeichel's goal from around 30 yards.
32: TV replays suggest the Argentinian winger hurt his wrist while falling to the groung. Thankfully, he's back on his feet and has re-entered the action.
31: Di Maria goes to ground on the far side following another late tackle from De Laet, prompting United's medical staff to sprint over the pitch.
31: Former United defender Ritchie De Laet is cautioned by the referee following a questionable sliding challenge on Tyler Blackett.
30: Chris Smalling has replaced Jonny Evans, who appears to be struggling with an injury.
26: Daley Blind executes an ambitious left-footed half volley that is comfortably saved by Schmeichel.
United legend Phil Neville on Twitter: "Rooney/Robin/Radamel look great!"
22: Chris Smalling is warming up on the touchline, though I haven't seen anything that suggests he is about to enter the action.
20: Well, what a game we have in store here. Just when it looked like United were running away with it, Leicester showed their mettle and hit back. Who knows what will happen next...
GOAL: LEICESTER 1 UNITED 2
The Foxes attack from the restart and get their goal from Leonardo Ulloa, whose near-post header flies into the top corner. The King Power Stadium erupts following an eventful few minutes.
GOAL: LEICESTER 0 UNITED 2
Oh my word! Angel Di Maria dribbles forward and plays a one-two with Rooney before chipping a genuinely world class finish over the goalkeeper to double United's lead.
GOAL: LEICESTER 0 UNITED 1
Falcao's delicious cross is headed in at the back post by van Persie, who wheels away in jubilation to celebrate his first goal of the season. That was an excellent strike and one that puts United in charge of what has been a difficult match so far.
11: Di Maria this time finds Falcao, who takes a touch and crosses the ball into the area for van Persie. The Dutchman takes a touch but quickly loses possession.
10: Di Maria bursts forward and plays an exquisite through ball for van Persie, whose chipped shot is saved by Kasper Schmeichel.
09: Chants of "Louis van Gaal's Red army" are booming out of the away end, where around 3,000 United fans are housed.
08: It looks as though United are lined up in the 4-4-2 diamond formation, with Daley Blind sat in front of the back four. Ander Herrera and Angel Di Maria are just ahead of him, with Wayne Rooney then playing behind Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie.
06: The Reds have regained some early compusure and are knocking the ball in midfield. Leicester are pressing with great urgency, however, and look bang up for this match.
04: Leicester push forward on the attack and earn a corner, which eventually leads to Liam Moore heading wide of David De Gea's post.
03: There's a terrific atmosphere inside the stadium, with plenty of flags waving to the sound of a bass drum that is being repeatedly banged in the home end. United's fans are in fine voice, as well.
KICK-OFF AT THE KING POWER
01: The match is under way at the King Power Stadium. Apologies for the brief radio silence, by the way, the internet connection in the press box went down for a few minutes.

Louis van Gaal's men are determined to build on last Sunday's emphatic 4-0 victory over QPR, which provided a welcomed boost for everybody associated with the club. Can the Reds register three more points today?
